Meet Lelia
Leah but with an extra ‘L’ for style points
Hi I’m Lelia, a registered massage therapist and the hands behind Aspen Roots Massage.
I work mostly with women; women with chronic pain, women who do too much, women who just need a quiet moment that’s theirs. whether we’re easing discomfort, managing fatigue, or just getting you through a hard week my goal is for you to leave feeling a little lighter in your body and your mind.
I also work with babies, teenagers, grandparents and everyone in between. Each person brings something different to the table, and that keeps the work meaningful.
What I care about
I want you to feel heard especially if you’re living with chronic pain or conditions that others haven’t taken seriously. This is a space where you don’t have to explain or justify what you need, but just show up so we can work through it together.
Massage might not fix everything, but it can offer relief, calm and that warm full feeling in the center of your chest - the kind you get when you finally exhale.
Why Aspen Roots
Aspen trees don’t grow alone. Their roots connect them underground, passing nutrients and strength from one tree to the next. I love that sense of connection and community! The idea that we are all rooted together, that even when you can’t see it support is there. That’s the kind of care and community I strive to offer.
A little more about me
I live on a small farm in the foothills of Alberta with my husband, mom, horses, cows, dogs and a couple curious cats.
My favourite place to be is at the barn with the horses. I have learned a lot about presence, stillness and what might be needed within a space to allow us all to breathe a little easier and just be ourselves.
I love celebrating life’s wins with my clients. And when things feel heavy, I’m here to hold space - without rushing, without trying to fix.
Showing up with care and consistency is what massage is all about.
